Join master framemaker Greg Drinkwine of Craftsman Frame Co. as he provides an in-depth look at what appraisers need to know when evaluating and identifying frames. Topics covered will include: identifying the different parts of a frame; establishing between period and reproduction frames; discerning between composition, handcarved and chop molded frames; understanding what types of woods were commonly used for period frames in America, England and Europe; understanding the different levels of quality; important references and resources.
