ASK THE EXPERTS
Walking the Tightrope: The Appraiser/Dealer and the Fine Line of Client Services
With Private Dealer Betty Krulik, AAA (Host: Molly Seiler)
Wednesday, October 2, 2013, 3:30pm to 5:30pm
This seminar will take place at Betty Krulik Fine Art Limited, 50 East 72nd Street, Suite 2A, New York City
Using works from her gallery to highlight her presentation, Betty will discuss how her work as an appraiser naturally evolved from her profession as a dealer—both to meet her clients' needs and to expand the professional services she offers. She will lead a frank discussion on how to manage these separate yet related services and how to navigate potential ethical dilemmas with professional integrity.
BETTY KRULIK has 38 years of experience in the American Art World working in Auction Houses as well as Galleries. She became a private dealer nearly 10 years ago and a certified appraiser in 2010. Betty has been a member of the Appraisers Association since 2005 and is the Association's current president.
