ASK THE EXPERTS
Susan Hunter, AAA will speak on “The Psychology of Appraising: Managing Client Expectations” during this fourth and final seminar of the 2013-2014 Ask the Experts Series. Susan’s interactive presentation will focus on the role of an independent appraiser in determining what the client actually needs and how the appraisal will be used. Communicating with the client is of paramount importance, especially when an appraisal takes place in the home. Based on her years of experience, Susan will provide real-life scenarios and share techniques and practical advice about managing client expectations. Topics of discussion include: establishing contact with the client; the agreement letter (terms, cost, timeframe); the initial walk-through; the inspection (and gauging the client’s level of involvement); research (performed while keeping open lines of communication with the client); and the final report.
If you have already registered for the entire "Ask the Experts" series, you do not need to register for this seminar separately.
