Join the Appraisers Association at Artworks Foundry for the next installment of the West Coast Study Series! Founded in 1975, Artworks Foundry is one of the leading foundries on the west coast, having worked with such renowned artists as Peter Voulkos, Ruth Asawa, Stephen de Staebler, Nathan Oliveira, and Jun Kaneko, among many others. The foundry specializes in the “lost wax” technique. During this program, Artworks Foundry will take the group through each department and demonstrate how an original sculpture becomes a finished bronze, including an opportunity to view the pouring of molten bronze. A question and answer session will take place upon completion of the tour. Learn more about Artworks prior to your visit at http://www.artworksfoundry.com. Immediately Following the program, we will dine at Riva Cucina (http://www.rivacucina.com). Lunch is not included in the program fee. Members earn 1.5 C.E. credits for this program.

Note: Open-toed shoes are not allowed and all visitors will be provided with a hard hat (required wear). Artworks Foundry is part of the Berkeley Arts Complex. Ample parking is available. The Foundry is toward the back of the complex.

Space is limited! Please register by February 18th
