Attendees will visit Heritage Auctions and view the upcoming Luxury Accessories Signature Auction before it moves on to sale in Beverly Hills. Following Heritage, the group will visit one of the West Side locations of Second Time Around, the fast growing luxury consignment boutique chain, to learn how resale values for items are established.

Join the Appraisers Association for a tour of Heath's original 1959 Marquis & Stoller designed Sausalito factory, where small runs of its clay are made and its dinnerware still formed, glazed, trimmed and fired. Learn how Heath, one of the few remaining mid-century potteries still in existence today, has been able to continuously foster sustainable production practices over the last fifty years and see first hand the processes behind the design and fabrication of their celebrated tableware.

Dr. Tom Folk, AAA, will address American scene paintings and Art Deco sculpture; Daile Kaplan, AAA, Director of Photographs & Photobooks, Swann Auction Galleries will discuss 1930s American photography, and Dr. Jennifer Gibson, Director, Art in Architecture and Fine Arts, U.S., General Services Administration will present on the role of the WPA and other federal art programs during the Great Depression. Attendees will also view American scene paintings at D. Wigmore Fine Art and visit the Met to see Thomas Hart Benton’s America Today mural and hear from Matthew Baigell, Professor Emeritus, Rutgers University.
