Henry, AAA, President of Martha Henry, Inc. Fine Art and Pamela Brown, AAA, President, PB Fine Art Appraisal, LLC will present some of the most well-known artists and introduce some of the younger generation while discussing market trends and valuations.

Martha HenryMartha V. Henry, AAA, President of Martha Henry, Inc. Fine Art since 1987, is an appraiser, art advisor, curator, and former gallerist specializing in African American artists from the 19th through the 21st centuries and Self-Taught artists.  She is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association specializing in African American Art.  Ms. Henry is also committed to nurturing American visual arts through advising and developing institutional and private collections, as well as educating the public through curating exhibitions in galleries, universities, museums, corporations and public parks.
Curatorial highlights include: the traveling exhibition, Art from the Inside: Paño Drawings by Chicano Prisoners, Welcome to the World of Mr. Imagination at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, Chicago, IL, and The Roots of the Spirit: Lonnie Holley, Charlie Lucas, Mr. Imagination and Kevin Sampson for the American Folk Art Museum during the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011 and reprised it for the Wiegand Gallery, Notre Dame de Namur University, Belmont, CA in 2014.
In addition to writing catalogs and essays, Ms. Henry has lectured on Self-Taught art. Formerly, Ms. Henry was Associate Project Manager for Suzanne Randolph Fine Art, a public art advisory firm in New York City between 2000 and 2006. In addition to directing contemporary Manhattan galleries during the 1980’s, Ms. Henry co-founded Slate Gallery in 2006 and Urban Art Projects in 2007. Pamela BrownPamela Brown, AAA, is an independent personal property appraiser and is President of PB Fine Art Appraisal, LLC established in 2006. She is a Certified member of the Appraisers Association of America specializing in 19th and 20th century African American Fine Art. Her company provides art advisory services and appraisal services for purposes of Insurance, Estates, Charitable Contributions and Equitable Distribution.
Ms. Brown is co-owner of ArtJaz Gallery established in 1999, originally located in Old City, Philadelphia representing new and emerging Artists of African Descent. ArtJaz Gallery is currently an online gallery.
Prior to becoming an appraiser, Ms. Brown worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 15 years her last position was National Field Sales Director with Janssen Pharmaceutica, a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson. Brown is a graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1976. Ms. Brown serves as a Director on the Appraisers Association of America Board of Directors, 2022-2025 and currently resides in Chester County, PA.
