Included: Increasing Visibility for Artists with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the Marketplace
The panel was originally held at our National Conference on November 7th, 2024.
This panel will investigate the market for artists who have previously been grouped under the larger “outsider art” umbrella but who are now finding a broader audience. Under discussion will be institutional interest after the major purchase of artists associated with the organization Creative Growth by the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the work of curators of White Columns, and Cavin Morris Gallery, New York.
