Join us for a celebration of Asia Week, Year of The Monkey,
and The Met’s 100th Anniversary of Asian Art.

Begin with an in-depth art historical and connoisseurship gallery talk in the Chinese, Korean and Japanese galleries with France Pepper, AAA. Selected object types that appraisers come across most often in their work will be highlighted, as well as The Met as a resource for Asian art.

Followed by an afternoon handling session of Chinese and Japanese art at Bonhams.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Chinese & Japanese art
  • Expand your knowledge of traditional Asian art resource and the current market conditions

Led by:
France Pepper, AAA is the Founder and Director of China Insider, a consultancy focused on art, culture and business, and is a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America (specialization in Chinese Fine Art). She has over 30 years of experience in Asia and is a recognized specialist in Chinese art and culture. France is a lecturer in Asian art at The Metropol- itan Museum of Art and other institutions, and was the Director of Arts and Culture Programs at China Institute for over a decade.
