Join us for a day devoted to American sculpture!
The later part of the program will deal with Post War and Contemporary American sculpture and Decorative Arts. The discussion will be lead by Professor Joan Marter, Rutgers University.
Professor Marter will lead the group through the Noguchi Museum. Isamu Noguchi is considered one of the masters of 20th Century American Sculpture. We will see representative sculptures by Noguchi, as well as an exhibition of design objects.

Lastly, the group will go to Socrates Sculpture Park. The Park was founded by leading sculptor Mark di Suvero. The park includes one of di Suvero’s works, and is a showplace for emerging American sculptors. Program Schedule: 12:00pm - 1:30pm 1:30pm - 3:00pm 3:00pm - 4:00pm
