Join us for this unique opportunity to take a private tour of the newly opened Magazzino, a private warehouse art space devoted to Postwar and Contemporary Italian Art!

Magazzino’s new space will display works from Olnick Spanu Collection, with the mission of researching and supporting further recognition of Postwar and Contemporary Italian art in the United States.

The inaugural presentation will display a curated selection of works created by artists whose careers Margherita Stein fostered.

Based on Stein’s legacy, the inaugural display at Magazzino will showcase over four decades of historic works by artists including Pino Pascali, Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Luciano Fabro, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Marisa Merz, Giulio Paolini, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, and Gilberto Zorio.

The exhibition is focused on continuing Stein’s legacy in the United States by fostering a renewed dialogue around Postwar Italian art, emboldening Magazzino’s mission as an integral arts organization supporting Italian art and artists, amidst the vibrant, artistic Hudson Valley community.

Attendees are responsible for transit to the Cold Spring Metro North train station by 11am, where a shuttle will take you to Magazzino. Attendees may also drive directly to Magazzino.
