American Modernism: 1900-1950

The lecture will discuss the early days of the movement
on the Armory Show of 1913, The Paris World's
Fair of 1925, Alfred Steiglitz's various galleries
and Edith 
Halpert's Downtown Gallery. Values of similar
paintings or even the same painting sold at various times
artists such as John Marin, Georgia O'Keeffe
and Marsden Hartley will be included.
