Valuating LGBTQ Issues in American Art
Friday, September 21, 2018  
This program will focus on LGBTQ issues in American Art, beginning with a lecture
at the Appraisers Association, followed by visits to the Whitney Museum and
the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art. The program will end with
a r
eception at Mr. Leslie's residence.

Leonardo's Salvator Mundi: Its Journey from Anonymity
to Fame and from £45 to $450 Million

Tuesday, September 25, 2018  
Join us for a special evening at The Lotos Club, where the story of Leonardo da Vinci’s
Salvator Mundi's rediscovery will be told by 
Robert Simon, AAA- who helped establish
the painting’s identity and shepherded it from obscurity to world-wide celebrity. A
reception will follow the lecture.

Herrick Series

In this series, the Appraisers Association and Herrick Feinstein, LLP presented, "Advanced Issues for Appraisers," in which panels presented important information on current trends within the appraisal field. Topics included legal and ethical concerns, the IRS, and more.

Ask the Experts Series
In this series, the Associates Steering Committee organized an Ask the Experts Seminar Series that covered various topics relevant to continuing professional development for personal property appraisers of the fine and decorative arts.
