Associate Candidacy
Associate Candidacy at the Appraisers Association is a pathway to becoming an Accredited or Certified Member designed to help transition graduates who have completed the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program, or CASP, as they begin their career as an appraiser and gain the experience necessary to apply for Accredited Membership.
Associate Candidates receive a wide range of benefits, including discounts on programs and classes, our weekly e-vents newsletter, special Associates programs such as free admission to our yearly Connoisseurship Lecture Series at the National Arts Club, volunteer opportunities, pricing database subscription discounts, access to the Association's appraisal report templates, and more.
Associate Candidacy is only available to graduates of CASP. Associate Candidacy is renewable for a period of up to 3 years following the completion of CASP, or once an individual has reached 5 years of professional appraisal experience (whichever comes first). The annual dues for Associate Candidacy are $250.
