Flooded CellarIn the second installment of our Collection Protection, Damage and Loss series, Neil Kaplan, DipWSET, AAA, Cork Counsel will address Damage and Loss as it pertains to wine. Wine is a unique asset class. While numerous collectible asset classes require specialized storage and handling, wine, along with spirits, is in a class of its own. It can be damaged without physical or visual evidence. This webinar will cover the approaches for assessing and appraising wine collections, focusing on some of the more problematic situations.

The "Collection Protection" series will include four webinars focusing on different aspects of Damage and Loss, beginning in January, with "Damage and Loss" Insurance: with Ellen Hoener Ross, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the series will continue in February with "Damage and Loss: Wine" with Neil Kaplan, DipWSET, AAA, Cork Counsel, in March with "Damage and Loss: Emergency Preparedness" with Rand Silver, Treadwell Fine Art and Collections Underwriters, and in April with "Damage and Loss: Fire Appraisals" with Helen Hall, AAA, DIG Appraisals.

Appraisers Association of America members will receive 1 C.E. (Continuing Education) Credit.

This is a recording of a webinar previously held live on February 8, 2024.
