Appraiser's Statement
With over 20 years of diverse experience in the art and financial world I have valued art and collectibles for corporations, museums and private collectors throughout the United States and internationally. Earning a Diploma in French Fine and Decorative Arts at Christie’s in Paris, a Masters degree in Art History from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of William & Mary, I have provided legal analysis for court cases involving art valuation and identification. I regularly publish articles as well as conduct lectures and Continuing Education classes on diverse topics pertinent to art and collectibles. In addition, I am also featured in the documentary titled, ‘The Real Fake’ about the renowned art forger, Elmyr de Hory.
