Appraiser's Statement

I worked for more than a decade as a specialist of Asian art at a major auction house. Though I have had the most experience with the Chinese decorative arts, I have appraised and cataloged artwork from all over Asia, from Japan to Indonesia, Tibet to the Philippines, in all media, including but not limited to: jades, scholars objects, Buddhist statuary, textiles, paintings and ceramics. I can speak fluent Mandarin and passable Cantonese. I have some additional proficiency in Japanese, French, and Sanskrit.
