Gayle is the founder of Abigail Hartmann Associates, a full service personal property APPRAISAL firm that offers appraisals for the purposes of estate, capital gains, gift tax, charitable contribution, insurance, damage, loss, equitable distribution, and resale. The firm’s consulting services include estate liquidation, investment strategies, insurance reviews, expert witness, legal testimony, museum, gallery, and auction house liaisons, conservation and restoration, and transportation and security arrangements. We conduct research studies and appraisals of personal property, specializing in fine and decorative arts, jewelry, and wine. Clients include galleries, auction houses, estates, artist’s estates, educational institutions, corporations, and individuals internationally. WE DO NOT BUY OR SELL. Gayle's educational background is in Old Masters, but her certification is in American art, prints, and wine.
