Appraiser's Statement

Cynthia D. Herbert, AAA, President of Appretium Appraisal Services LLC, is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and the 2017-19 President of the Board of Directors. She has over 30 years of experience appraising an extensive range of fine and decorative art, antiques and residential furnishings. Cynthia is an instructor for the Appraisers Association, the Appraisal Institute of America, and an AQB certified USPAP instructor. She has presented at professional conferences, including the AAA's Art Law Day and Of Value Conferences, and the Responsible Art Market Conference; she also serves on The Appraisal Foundation’s (TAF) Personal Property Issues Committee. Previously, she was an Adjunct Professor at New York University's School of Professional Studies and a member of TAF Personal Property Resource Panel.
